Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland!

We are honored that you are visiting our website and hope that it is due to an interest in our club's mission of "Serving the Children of the World!"  Our club was created with the sole intent of fulfilling that purpose.  However, over the last 90+ years, we've become involved in many other projects and activities that compliment our members interests and pursuits.  Most recently, Cleveland, TN was the first U.S. City to be proclaimed as a "Flag City U.S.A.", this due in large part to the efforts of our club who have purchased and cared for a majority of these flags displayed around Cleveland from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.  We also have our "legendary" Pancake Day Breakfast every Spring, which also serves as our trademark fund raiser to help assist in furthering our mission.  But one of the most enjoyable activities we do as a club is to meet every Thursday at the Mountain View Inn for a delicious lunch, terrific fellowship, and wonderful programs.  If you are interested in hearing more about our work, our mission, or our members, don't hesitate to contact us.  Otherwise, feel free to just come on up the hill next Thursday and "break bread" with us.  We'd love to have you!

The members of the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland, Tennessee look forward to seeing you soon!

Eliminate - A Joint Kiwanis UNICEF Project

With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. The effects of the disease are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch.

To eliminate MNT from the Earth by 2015, 129 million mothers and their future babies must be immunized. This requires vaccines, syringes, safe storage, transportation, thousands of skilled staff and more. It will take $110 million — and the dedicated work of UNICEF and every member of the Kiwanis family. For more information about the Eliminate Project, please follow the "Links" at the left side of this page.

Kiwanis Pooches to Pedigrees Dog Competition was a success!!

The Second Annual Kiwanis Pooches to Pedigrees Dog Competition was very successful. Held at Tri-State Exhibition Center in Southeast Tennessee, over eighty-five dogs and their owners participated. Although the final figures are not in, President-elect Chris sends out his thanks to all that volunteered. The future seems bright for the continuation of the competition in upcoming years.
