Pancake Day a Great Success!

444 people came through the line for pancakes and sausage on Saturday, April 17th. It was a great day, and lots of fun was had by all who attended. New member Gary Dennis took lots of photos and put them together in a slideshow, which you can access here.

Cleveland Kiwanis Club Provides $50,000 in Scholarships for Area Young People

Higher education is becoming more of a necessity than just a desire for many young people. The new industries coming to our area are demanding highly educated employees for their companies. With college tuitions spiraling sharply upward, more young people are searching for financial assistance to further their education. Since 1989, the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland has been helping local young people by providing over $50,000 in scholarships. Based on merit and need, the scholarships are funded through the club’s Youth and Community Services Foundation. Thus far, the sixteen Foundation scholarship recipients have attended ten different colleges and universities.
